My list of iPhone App Reviews (Tweet-size)

Well back in August I started doing 5 tweet reviews on iPhone apps every Sunday.

13th Sept

  • iPhone App : LimeChat - IRC Client – http://bit.ly/limechat : It works but not keeping you logged in is an issue for me. £3
  • iPhone Game : Zuigen - http://bit.ly/zuigen : Great little game, nothing special in the graphics department. 59p would be better than £1.20
  • iPhone Game : Laser Corehttp://bit.ly/lasercore : Found it poor to be honest. If it was free then I would say download. Not at 59p tho.
  • iPhone Game : Games That Blow : Blow the mic and that is it. But the thing is, it works. Well a little. Worth 59p… No comment!
  • iPhone App : What The Fonthttp://bit.ly/easyfont : Take a picture of some text then this app will tell you what text. Not perfect but FREE.

iPhone App Review : ColorSplash

I have no choice but to spell colour the wrong way here as it’s an american app.

Review

This is a great little iPhone app that will no doubt bring thousands of people hours and hours of fun.

It lets you take a picture with your camera or use an image from your camera roll, then turn specific parts colour and the rest B&W. Check out the images below to get the general idea of what to do (it’s pretty easy). Read more

iPhone App Review : Tweetie

Ok my second attempt at a review. This time an iphone app instead of a game (topple) like last time.

I personally think that twitterific is a great Twitter client for the iPhone. But after a twitter from Stephen Fry recommending Tweetie as a good iPhone client I thought it best I give it a go. Read more

iPhone App Review : Topple

This is my first game review so apologies if it’s not great. I will be posting more reviews in the future so hopefully they will get better over time.

Review

The idea is to stack blocks up to a designated line and try to make sure they don’t topple over. It’s pretty simple to start with but on the later levels it does get more difficult. Not only does the height get bigger but the base goes from being flat to round.
It’s ok if you lose a block or two, but if you lose 4 then i’m afraid it’s game over.

You can get the general idea from the screenshots below, sorry I have no video will work on a video review for my next game review.

One thing I will say, because of buying this game I will think twice before purchasing another game. I do like it when a game producer gives out a lite version so you can test if it’s any good before forking out.
